Multi-Battle Discussion
So, here's a thread with the status of the new battle system - will be updated frequently.
1. PVP Battle System (~45% Done)[INDENT] 1.1.Basic Functions
1.1.1.Setup of main battle screen
1.1.2.Revamped turn system: everybody moves at once, execute moves, control battle
1.1.3.Call for help functionallity – implementation in scout area
1.1.4.Parsing of the battle log
1.1.5.Rewrite all jutsu effects
1.1.6.Rewrite all item effects
1.1.7.Rewrite all bloodline effects
1.1.8.Win / lose conditions, battle ending and battle control (throw away dead users)
1.1.9.Fleeing
1.2.New Functions
1.2.1.AOE tags for jutsus etc
1.2.2.Summons (add an AI user to aid in battle)
1.3.PVP Specifics
1.3.1.Kage Challenges– 1on1 only
1.3.2.Spars
1.3.3.Bounty-hunters
1.3.4.ANBU-points
1.3.5.PvP Points
1.3.6.Village funds
1.4.AI system as an extention of the PVP system
1.4.1.Allow AI users to enter on either side of multibattle
1.4.2.Battle Arena: 1on1 only
1.4.3.Missions; specifically A missions where all opponents are faced at once
1.4.4.Crimes
1.4.5.AI traits
1.4.6.Events
1.4.7.AI jutsus etc
1.4.8.AI Kage
1.5. Final Testing before closed testing on development domain
1.6. Public testing
Green = 100% Done
Blue = 75-99% Done
Orange = 10-75% Done
Red = 0% Done

The new system looks promising ^^ I'm looking forward to it. But I think it'll take a few more weeks before it's launched...
And I bet here will be complaints from random users xD Actually, complaints are a must. Since Complaints are like oxygen for TNR users. They can't live without it O_o
... That must make me an asteroid o_O I never complained xD
Anyway, the MPvP makes raiding a more complicated matter o-o;; People in groups of two-five can raid together, evenly balanced stats, e.g. One person with high defense and HP but no offense, and one person with capped jutsus, one with capped gens, or somewhat similar to this o-o;;

i have my difficulties with the multi-battle...
smaller villages like shine wold be in disadvantage when its about calling someone to help... as there are less ppl online at the time and also less that can view the request... etc...

Like I said, people will plan before they raid now, and plan while defending. This makes the tavern really useful for defending ^^

I meant 2-3 people can stay awake at the same time, when one person attacks a raider, he/she can call for help to let the other 2 join o_O It's not that efficient though, not in Shine...

Aye, this system seems well thought-out and has potential to become a huge hit. I've seen many people who typically complain get excited about these new features... it may be exactly what the site needs.

Agreed. It will be interesting to see if the users online goes throughout the day goes up or stays the same as it usually is, 350-500.

Yea, I could definitely see it getting higher on average.
And as far as the smaller villages thing goes... It's not a horrible disadvantage., or at least no more so than what other villages would experience.
I'm excited for it all to come public. It just sucks to be in Horizon right now x.x No one raids there xD

As well as the new battle system, terr's done a lot of other things...and quick. Like that new combat/scout area system change, that was a good idea from marshal and it was only suggested a day or two ago...but he got it done, the guy's quick. AoE is probably going to be added in, using a 1D grid, and AI summonings will be pretty cool...now if they would only add something equivalent to the gates system...

Yea, Terr has had his hands full lately, I'm sure. We owe him a great deal of gratitude, he's done phenomenal things as of late.
I can't imagine how frustrated he must be, having his hands tied with all this, and now this random hack-attack x.x

i think the new system will be amusing, finally raiding together will mean something? but im looking forward to having a solid strategic part in the game and im hoping the jutsu updates will actually be somewhat decent for once lol.

Either some jutsu will hit every opponent or they will use a 1D grid.

1 Dimensional grid, I believe. Things work in linear fashion, if Users A-D are standing in a line and you aim for User C, Users B and D also get hit with a fraction of the power.
The distances could vary, but it's all the same concept.

The others four users are A, B, C, and D (in that order).
If you were to attack User C, then in a 1D grid users B and D could also be attacked with an AoE jutsu, since they are right next to it. This is all 1 Dimensional, the Users are lined up in a straight line, and not scattered all over the place.
Note- In this situation, the 1D grid is set up to only use a 1-space radius (1 left, 1 right). With large enough numbers, the radius could be larger.
