Thats what I was thinking o.O If I ask my parents If I could miss school because of being a little bit sick, like having a runny nose, cough, sneezing ect...they would just make a sarcastic joke about it or say, "are you the only one who goes to school while you are sick?" but you learn to live with it eventually.

lol for me if i was sent to school and i was feeling ill i would go to class and act worse than i really was otherwise i would be told to stay home and given the, you cant do that because your sick treatment.

My dad used to tell me that doing things I didn't want to do built character x.x Going to school sick was one of them xD He'd never allow any excuses, unless it legitimately put others at risk.

They day I broke my arm he made sure I went to school right after I got my cast on xD

As long as it was 101 °F or under I'd usually go to school... I didn't get much time off.

I think it's helped though. In college I can't afford to miss classes, so at least I've learned by now to just deal with the pain and take as good notes as possible.

i bet it helped ^^ you dont seem to be much of a slacker Smile

but at least you take notes in classes instead of going to the nurse and getting told to go home if you have a slight fever or anything like that.. having a broken arm would be tough >.< especially if your writing hand is covered in a cast >.<

yes males could be considerd lucky for not having that problem but in most cases males have decreased brain function all year round? lol (my bad guys lol , im thinking mostly of the rastas and marajuana smokers lol)

ah i see, well i guess your dad was alright to push you to go to school even with you being sick/injured just so you could exceed. bettering yourself is motivation in its self (well i would hope)

mm yeah this calm is making me a tad bit uneasy.. usually with a calm theres a storm not very far... so maybe its yet to be unleashed at its full potential (im not saying that it would be a good thing but expecting the worst and being prepared for it couldnt hurt)
