Should Anyone Make $1,000,000+ a Year

Lately you have been hearing alot about these guys, the scandels, the frauds, the Bounses, so the Question has to be Asked, Should they? Personly I say Yes, IF they worked for it, A exsample is Bill Gates, He started with nothing and Build up his Business with his two bare hands, I think the man deserves to get payed what he wants, But then there are others (The Vast Majority of these People($1.mill+) which fall here) That don't deserve a Dime.

and btw bill gates and microsoft do not have a clean record...they stole concepts in the past and they do it now but if you can pull it off then dude i think you should get that amount.

O_o no, It's not, My Point is that there are people that do nothing TO earn what they have, They sit back and make money while others do the Work (some of these people don't even run the bissnouse any more, and they still get pay more than anyone), yes Bill Gates does NOT have the best record, but at least he WORKS for what he has (Maby I've just got a Conspirist mind when it comes to Business [after Madoff, why not], or maby I'm on to something, thats for you guys to deside).

what about investors??
it is possible to make over 1,000,000 by investing into comapanies, or haveing singular contracts stating you get 'X' amount per annual...

Investing is a Little Diffrent, Very Few Investor ever make anything close to that, and the few that do work their butts off to keep those investment (though maby not directly in the company), you think smart Stockbrokers sit back on their bums and watch the money roll in? no, they are organizing, Studying, manageing every day.

These people were someone puts up a little money, signs a contract, and watchs the money roll in when they nothing to help, are the ones I've raving about. (yes there are a Sad number of these people)

Give an example of a job where 1 mil rolls in yearly without having to do work, you'll find that there are none...

Professional athletes included, they work hard, im definitely not saying someone should be paid 70 mil plus over a 5 year span, for playing football or basketball as a career though.

O.O that is mad >.< playing those games used to be for the fun of it, but these days its Money, Drinking and drugs (oh funXD) i cant think of a job that someone can earn 1 mill by sitting on their butt except for the guy that used to own www.trademe.co.nz apparently he made at least 1 mill before he sold it to google or some other company i think... and that was within a year...

Should people who sit on there asses deserve one mill.... I think so, the only ones that i can argue about is the ones who feed off mommy daddy, or granparents who make this much.....

but a ceo? a ceo is usually the brain of the company, they say who gets to put what on their shelves, ect.

They worked to get where they're at, why shouldn't they get to lean back, make a few decisions and reap the benifits...... as for bill gates, the concept of the computer was there, he just made it people friendly

Here's an example.
A surgeon can make about 400K - 1.5 mil.
and yes I think they deserve it.
Try comparing a teacher to a doctor. They might be doing equal good for society but one makes more than the other (usually)
although people like sports players don't really deserve all the money they make.
But hey lots of people go to sports games.

its the same about singers and movie stars... as of sports players...

since many ppl come to watch them... and spend their money on the shows and stuff...

everyone works hard in many different ways..

actors/performers/stagemen/sportsmen
work just as or maybe even harder its not that they rely on their looks but aswell as their ability to do all of the things that entertain us hence why they are able to earn so much because of the amount of people that spend money to see them perform/do their thing...

It's because they don't really help society.
They might provide entertainment but we don't rly need that... we do need education and health though

lmao you mustnt have seen any of the giant concerts that many musicians and actors have done to raise money for breast cancer or any of the other cancer societies people raising money for world vision (helping children in poor countries) so i guess singers, actors and musicians plus sports stars dont care about society aye NR

so in education programs actors and musicians dont provide educational advice or activities for babies before they start pre-school..
in advertisements actors dont want people to go to the doctors and get a check up on aids, cancer or any other diseases?

NR maybe you need to think that the world is helping itself but in small amounts people are people and they will support people in their own way remember when hurricane Katrina hit new orleans? alot of actors, musicians and singers raised millions to get it back on its feet even Oprah winphrey gave a couple of million to support the people... just a few examples.

I still am convinced that medicine or teaching is more noble.
Take St. Judes for example... they are doctors who cure kids with cancer for free.
Plus there are more doctors than famous people... then they're are famous doctors O.o

id like to see you live with no entertainment for 10 years im sure you will think differently because your opinion on famous people isnt very nice.
what doctors and teachers do can be considered noble depending on what is being taught.
what you should be against is the instant millionaires that win lotteries and such instead of picking on famous people!!
