Lest we forget

8 years ago today, the USA wittnesed one of the worst acts of Terror and Hate in recorded history, when two Airliners were hijacked and flew into the World trade centers two towers. but through the Chaos that pursued, there were people that were willing to give their lives to Protect those that remaind, and many did. As you go about your daliy lives today, I ask that you take a moment to reflect on the Scarifices that were made to protect those freedoms that so many of us take for granted, and look back in remembrance, not only on those that died that day, but also on those of the past, and those that even now are fighting so that we may continue on.

LEST WE FORGET THE ONES WHO DIE SO THAT WE MIGHT LIVE!!!

It was a terrible event to witness... espically since I live in NYC and was in Manhattan at the time the 1st plane hit the world trade center...
So many of the NYPD and FDNY; cops and firefighters risked their own lives to save the lives of others. They are and were truly a symbol of hope, and a role model to all.
9/11 showed how evil people could be but also at the same time showed how generous.
Anyway the terriorists who commited that horrible sin don't deserve life.
Murder is murder no matter which way you look at it.

The patriotic part of that day was after the attack by the terriorists. -.-
The whole idea is that all the Americans came together to give each other hope, and to cheer on the people who had lost family and friends in the attack... (*cough* me)
