but if as "figthing" skills goes.. Does anyone knows who Frank Dux is?? he is old, but clearly could kick Bruce and Chuck asses together when they where young and strong to face him. hahahaha.. as a prove.. he train the masters that now train all US Marins and Cia in martial arts, just to give you an idea..

but i wouldnt think money or power in the way you discriped the ones of a president and other ppl...
has really something to do with tough....

sure... some had to be tough to get that high...
but if its only because of lieing and tricking other ppl... use other ppl to get that high... i wouldnt call that tough... as well as ppl that got that high because of some connections...

i'd think ones charackter has a lot to do with it...
it must be someone sure with a lot of will power...
but if he just steps on other for his own sake .... its just weak...

yeah or it could be some bushman living in the bush since he was born living life as nature had intended it never seeing another human being not having cares in the world... but hes super tough lol

What world do you live in Ryu? Bruce Lee is very famous everywhere and he is also very influensial in many things.

also Frank Dux, he is not the icon as bruce lee is.. because when he was young and strong he was winning contest, and bruce was making movies...
Frank Dux system is the basic training program for US army (in close combat) that is far beyond influensial..
also he made a ninjutsu system (Ninjutsu DUX ryu) and for this now ppl in other places, rather japan, can train in a ninjutsu system (as a martial art)
and ninjutsu is more effective than the system by Bruce lee

well..
i guess bruce lee was only famous because... well... he made movis and stuff in tv etc...
but there are sure other ppl that were really good in fighting sports... but didnt comercialized themself that much...

if they didnt put themself ot there on the market they wouldnt have been known to the world as they are..
thats how it made them famous by showing their skills to the world through tv and radio + books
but then it just came to note that they were more acting than anything else -.-

Thats not what I said...I said that I believe the toughest person is someone who isn't famous. Bruce lee may be tough but surely there is someone tougher, someone devoted to martial arts, who dosn't do movies or commercials or anything.
