Heavenly Sword

i just played heavenly sword (my bf has it)

it was fun....

you are a girl that is kinda hated by their clan... she should be kinda cursed....this clan is the protector of this sword.... and gets attacked by some ugly guy cause he wants to own this sword... and now they fight....
you walk around and kill ppl ... yay....
sometimes you also play with another girl ... she is some kind of sniper i guess.....
and then you can you this slowmotion feature to control the arrow with your controller by moving the controller just like a wheel of your car.... and hit your destination... quite some great idea ^^


though i thinkits kinda short ö.ö;
played through it in somewhat 2 days.. or even less.. depends on how you count it....

well, what genre is the game? if it's not an rpg or something like that, i 'd be lying if i said that I like it

i dont know exactly how you call that genre...
you are a character... (though at some points you change the character)

you are equipped with a sword... and run around .. there are 2 attack buttons...
with one press you make an attack move

you also there... run through levels... every time you finish a level it gets saved....
you dont need to care about equipment, skills and stuff...
but you can use combo-attacks though... that gets available after you got some points... there is no experience though
f you die... you start from the beginning of the current level.... no lives loss

yeah, got it. well, it looks good, but not as good as FF games

you cant compare them...
as they have a totally other game play ö.ö;

maybe, but still, it doesn't look as enjoyable as them

what i dont like about stuff like ff....
is... you have to think so much about inventory.. and placing your points and stuff...

in heavenly sword.. or also in onimusha (thoughmore)... you have to think less.....
just pressing buttons and killing ppl...
everywhere lie corpses .... and blood spills XD
you dont see stuff like this is FF

this is true i like both types of games tho

i enjoy going around killing people and getting into fights
but then i also like a system knowing i can use special moves to do different things giving me a variety of oppertunities to kill an opponant heal a friend or protect self from the enemies attacks..
either way i like both!

yes i like them both too...
though... sometimes.... it gets too stressful with the skill management and stuff.... -.-
some games are too complex... always thinking you do something wrong when choosing t use this or that... -.-

yeah that happens to me alot when i die and the screen goes dark then says GAME OVER -.-
thank goodness i saved it at the last save point though ^^

that is the biggest problems with FF games you can never go through it once without dieing at least once, i dont know any person in RL that has ever been able to do that on their first attempt at a rpg game.

well... if the game i soooooo long... i even dont have the interest to play it over again....
unless maybe after a long time passed...

but generally... such games as FF ... they arent that heavy on action .. as they are more about strategy....

while games like heavenly sword... where you directly handle stuff with the chars.... is action pure....
