What do you prefer manga or Anime

What do you enjoy more, anime or manga ,And why?

I pesonally enjoy manga most of the time.I like to imagine the action and other stuff rather than watch it,what are yalls opinions?

^_^ Manga, Anime always seems to go to fast, and you can read manga at your own time, go back if you forget something, or reveiw what you want.

i agree with Tori i prefer Manga so i can read at my own pace. Anime does go fast and isnt as easy to find the part where you were up to or else you would have to pause it...

It all depends really. Like, Prince of Tennis I enjoyed both in anime and manga, but I got more out of the anime than the manga. Sometimes the drawings just aren't enough for me to visualize what's going on.

I prefer the Anime but in Manga shows the real history.

I also like the anime more, really gives the whole "this show is amazing" feeling, that makes you want to keep watching. Some manga's however are also good, depends.

I cant really watch anime any more ,cept for a few new ones without a manga,but other than that i dont like watching anime anymore o,o

thats not fully correct....

some anime ... like bleach or naruto... and i guess many others too...
go pretty slow... at some places... in a manga fights often are far shorter...
as you could read the fight in lets say 15 minutes... while the same scene in the anime takes like 2 or 3 or maybe more eps...

i dont read manga... ive read ranma 1/2... it was great... laughed all the time... and a bit of angel sanctuary and like 225 chapters of naruto... but thats all... so meeeh

I like both.
While manga often show the real history and are more informative, battle scenes are a lot cooler in their anime forms than in their manga forms and also ussually the mangas are not colourful, so you lose some of the most basic details.

Manga...

for me...

...it is more expressive.
...it is the original idea. (no fillers)
...it is better to imagine the voice, the situation.. is like reading a book, i love using my imagination..
... most of times are longer than anime (Gantz, Fullmetal alchemist, Hellsing etc...)

when i was reading ranma 1/2 (which i before watched the anime) i sure when i read the diologs etc... i imagined them having the voices of the anime...
but when i read a manga without knowing their voices in anime...
i didnt even care about voices... they had non...
it was almost like they all are using telepathy to communicate >.>

well.. for example i read first naruto, before watching anime.. so.. the part of kakuzu and hidan, the voice I think they should have, was better than anime.. specially Hidan...

maybe i'm nut.. hahaha.... i sometimes start talking as i were some characters and give some feeling to it..

i started with anime before manga so ive always imagined different voices for manga lol
(i liked making the voices for the manga i read ^^ tho i could never really master the girls voice lol)

I prefer manga to get the full story and anime to watch the battle scenes *nods*

the battle scenes arnt always that great tho x.x

yeah but trying to read and especially understand manga battle scenes are impossible =/

not impossible, just difficult because you see who hits who but you dont see how the hit is made, see partial of a jutsu and then the end part of it missng the excitement...

please half the time you cant tell who is hitting who in a naruto battle until you see them on the ground or say wow that was a good one or something XD

usually there isnt more than 2-3 people fighting and reading it from the beginning its easy to tell who is hit by who, you just cant see the momentum building from the attack like in the anime lol
