lucky him.. not alot of voice actors can use their real voice for voice overing... still cool tho ^^

they could but it wouldnt always have the same effect..

ive met the american voice overs for dbz

goku
vegeta
chibi trunks

their real voices are completely different to their characters because all of them play more than one character
example:
goku, king kai

vegeta, piccolo

chibi trunks, chibi gohan, goten

they are the voice overs for more than 1 character

chibi is like baby example: baby/young gohan, baby/young trunks, baby/young goten, baby/young pan

the number is the episode
the name is the voice actor
the character underneath are the characters they voice over for..

i know what chibi means...
but i rather understand it as a smaller cuter version of a character... and not the same char just as a child.....

i dont know really i guess its an american thing lol (change voice overs every 50 something episodes lol) ive met the main cast from 50 onwards at a science fiction convention and they just so happened to have some anime stuff and a few guest speakers lol it was a good time because it wasnt as busy as i thought it was gunna be ^__^

ooo ok ive seen it used on many different terms but the main way ive seen it used in DBZ was to show the younger version of a character like in DBGT they may have called him chibi too lol

yes... in my understanding you could call him chibi.... as he isnt younger... but shrunk....

in germany... they just changed the synchrony speakers with the new appearance of DBZ....

thank god they changed voices... the new ones were better in my opinion... more mature....

yeah it is good that they change voice overs because it would be wierd if baby trunks sounded like kid trunks and then sounded like teenage trunks and then adult trunks >.<

worse for goku if they had kept the same guy from db, dbz into dbgt x.x

why not one guy for kid goku, one for adult goku...
in DB he becomes adult too in the end... so yeah....

but what i meant was... that they havent kept the voice staff from DB also giving the voice in DBZ
those that were already adult anyway....
but also thinking that those that started in DB... became older too....
(the german dub voice of kid goku was a woman Ö_Ö)

hmm probably because of money the changes were made (alot of things in voice overing is influenced by money lol)

kid gohan, kid goten, kid trunks were all dub voiced by a woman too ^__^
