'Shine's Strongest Chunin'

This is the next contest idea, which hopefully will inspire some people...

I currently have 2 mil ryo earmarked for this, and I'm thinking of finding the top 5 chunin... Each of which will get 400k (2 mil/5). It's not just pure damage as I saw in Current's chunin contest, as TNR isn't just about damage output... Each chunin will face off against my ryo alt (3k gens, 90k weapon offense except for 3k weapon def, lvl 1 SJ jutsu). And I'm thinking I'll try to have it on a weekend and have people come here to 'register' for a certain time of day...

How does that sound? o.o

Too bad I'm not chuunin anymore :/ Any chance you would be holding "strongest jounin" -contest also? :p

How can you see which is the stronger?

maybe by the damage they deal?
or the diffrence between damage dealt and damage taken?? ö_Ö

When one person deals 50k damage, and another deals 5k...its obvious, it'll be easy to tell.

I pretty well explained how I'm doing the testing to find the 5 strongest participating chunin... o.0

They face my ryo alt in battle... who is much more like a chunin in stats for all she's a SJ.... since stats aren't terribly important to a ryo alt... and with her only defense being weapon defense... it's about the best platform for running this I could think of...

Could I get my Chuunin in there? It's in Current, but I'm curious as to how well it would do compared to Shines Chuunin.

Hey i'm nu here in ShineHQ heard u were low on contestants sign me in... i did not sign in before cuz u didnt give a specific date Shines got got strong chunin im as surprise as u they did not sign up yet?

Err by damage they deal to a person with a hell of weapon defense as a Genjutsu user I`m with both chars for! However I use defensive builds for both my chars. I`d suggest a spars. Lets make it a tournament.
2 wins in 3 spars will make you a winner.
Sign Hayate in I know he has low chances of even getting 5th place however if it is for sake of the contest...

Even if you have a ton of defense... You'll do almost nothing compared to offense-build... And against it you'd most likely loose... Well that's just my oppinion, I won't explain myself because there are things that need to be figured out by yourself.

There is trick in not in getting 0 damage from anyone its on surviving the first round and hope that you`ll stun your opponent. However having a less damage received from weaker opponents(the ones that you`ll defeat in one turn anyway) seems a good idea in general to me.

And this thing you say probably hasn't been fully tested? I'm like 80% sure that it's false because they didn't even implement something where different elements would be strong against eachother when using jutsus. They were going to, but didn't.

Nontheless, having less damage from weaker opponents doesn't necessarily mean that you'll have less damage from strong opponents..

And you lost my point.

making it a tournament is more work to do (you have to create a list of matchups) & also people can just get unlucky... a single opponent everyone faces is more fair...

Ok I guess the example is needed.
Spar ColdSlayer vs DarkFyre some days ago my SoundlessSound (lvl32) vs her Senbon Strike:
As far my 49.2K vs her 50K offense.
My defenses are at 18.2K each but I also spend a lot on secondary generals Of course less then on main but it`s not just what is earned by missions.
Result 0 dmg received. Of course if we don`t count residual damage.
Anyway defensive builds are kinda risky thing but they still have their right on the existence. Especially for a genjutsu users.
And against stronger it works the same if it is fated for you to lose you`ll lose anyway. But in defending a village defensive build works just fine.

But where will we get a char with all defences and generals even for a fair contest. If only not asking some admin for help?
It is still a chance of unlucky chosen jutsu or offense disadvantage. Anyway with my both chars defense even, I have a difference in generals any Int/Will jutsu against me will be totally spoiled compared to other jutsus.

Anyway I was just thinking of random list tournament:
I guess It`s a bad influence from a GA , but whatever if it makes a fair contest it doesn`t matter. A list of participating chunnins. A places are generated randomly.
Any chunnin in a table have a right of asking a spar with someone higher than they in the table and if asker win they switch places. In the end will have a list close to ideal that reveal the strength of the candidates.
I guess 5 battle minimal. I guess then even leaders in the tournament would ask some candidates for spar to get them. Just not hoping that going offline after received a first place in random decision will leave them this first place for doing nothing to prove it.(Such user I guess will be just disqualified)

However it requires a constant overseeing with modifying the table. It`s a hard work for a judges but it is possibly a best decision in a question of fair play.

Question: What are your generals and what are his? That's the most important thing there.

Err... the posts had different reasons, main ideas and auditorium;
First to response to earlier said and it was already edit a quite times in the end. And is aimed to a two people directly.
Second was a suggestion about Contest. And has a full idea reveled within it. As couldn`t be just added just as a "P.S:" And is aimed for a discussion. (And for easier quoting if something)
But if you could not figure that out...

As for generals: I told you it`s not an option, it differs greatly after all it`s not just a hell of defense. It`s a reasonable defensive build.
