sama has nothing to do with being sannin...

sama is a suffix that expresses a lot of respect to the person thats being addressed like this...

chan is used for girls or for children of any gender....

san is the normal used suffix to adress ppl that arent familiar with oneself

I know that... I was reading a book and there was usually using san only for the daimyo was sama..
