old games

around 2000/2001 when i had windows ME i bought a games collection witrh a few very nice games
worms armagedon, street wars, urban chaos, etc
when i got XP they all didnt worked anymore
but now i have win7 and i remembered those games and wanted to play a few

but you can guess im writing here cause it doesnt really work >.>

i have the problem that i cant install the games
worms gives me the installing screen but turns off again after a half minute
street wars lets the PC go louder, but nothing else seems to happen afterwards, maybe 15-30min later a lil window appears telling its starting the installation... meanwhile i was able to play the game itself but 4 hours later i noticed i wasnt able to save the game without installation => 4 hours for nothing >_>
urban chaos gave me the starting screen but clicking on installation did nothing, here again after ~30min a loading window appeared but didnt worked out

so i was sitting till 2 am searching on the internet for solutions or even the whole game to download
havent found anything usefull (have downloaded something but had the same problem)

has anyone something that could help me????
i really loved to play those games

seems it was an issue with my pc
my bf was able to install it and gave me the folder

so i was able to play it ^^

Well i don't suggest 2000/2001 game old... old for me is about 19...

well ... seeing how fast technology develops i would call them old

well yea but still old legendary games are those for me..

could you name a few?
(btw... i only got my first pc in 2000 x.x )

Grand Theft Auto
Civilization
Civilization II
Dungeon Keeper II
Worms
Fallout
Aliens vs predator
Final fantasy (many of them)

That's enough.. for now.. I'm sure there are much more of them
