Battle System
Battle System-
The battle system involves 5 basic things, jutsu, chakra, stamina, health, and items. Each jutsu uses up a certain amount of chakra and or stamina and has a set rank. Each item/jutsu deals an amount of damage when it hits, depending on the RP. Each time you take damage your health goes down.
Battle calculations:
E-ranked jutsu-Chakra used=attack damage
D-ranked jutsu-2(Chakra taken)=attack damage
C-ranked jutsu-3(Chakra taken)=attack damage
B-ranked jutsu-4(Chakra taken)=attack damage
A-ranked jutsu-5(Chakra taken)=attack damage
S-ranked jutsu-6(Chakra taken)=attack damage
Dodging/Defense:(May get confusing...)
Genjutsu's and other jutsu that aren't used to attack: For jutsu that don't attack right away, such as frost blade, creating a sword, the damage only occurs when they swing it in battle, not when the jutsu is used. As for genjutsu, they do no damage. Here are the rules for genjutsu:
Genjutsu that use under 50 chakra-traps opponent for 1 turn, can be dodged however using the dice. For jutsu that use 50-100, they trap the user for 2 turns and can also be escaped by dodging. Jutsu that use 110-150 trap the user for 3 turns and can be escaped by dodging, and lastly jutsu that use 151 or more chakra trap the user for 4 turns.
To prevent auto hits, dodging dice will be created...to attempt to defend against, or possibly dodge an attack/item.
These dice have 10 sides, here is what happens depending on what you roll:
1-Attack damage stays the same
2-Attack damage stays the same
3-Attack damage stays the same
4-Attack damage /2
5-Attack damage /2
6-Attack damage /2
7-Attack damage /3
8-Attack damage /3
9-Dodge Attack
10-Dodge Attack
When your enemy uses multiple attacks you simply roll the dice twice.
The dice can be found under the "send" button, you have to click "post reply" first to see it, quick reply dosn't show it.
Recovery-
After every fight in an RP topic, you recover 50% of your health/stamina/chakra. You fully recover after your mission/training/ect..is finished. There will be a number of different recovery items, also your actual stats wont be touched. You just post your Health/chakra/stamina at the beginning of the topic and the mod will keep track in each post.
Ok now mods, before any of you throw this entire idea out...i'd like to try it. So if two of you want to volunteer to try to do a practice RP match here in this forum, with me modding it that would be splendid.

Ah Story type RP is one that does not reliy on stats the much, but uses them as a gentral idea of a Charaters stength in a story. While the RP type we are working on is more like a Game, a Story RP is like a Book, it is for people that Like to Write more than Fight (lol it rhymes).Though what do you mean by story types?

Ah well...the entire thing is going to rely on stats and such o.O as during their story they will have to go on quests/missions, and fight many enemies.

The game type one we are working on (and the one that will be most use) is a Game type, two or more players trying to reach some goal, wither it be beating the liveing daylight out of each other, or some mission givin by the kage, it uses the Stats to deside how the story progresses, they grow in strength as they go.
A Story type is Like reading a Book, you have two or more people going for a goal, but unlike the Game type, the Players use their writeing and discriptive abillty to show how the Story and fights happen, stats loosely outlineing the Charathers Stenghts and abilltys, while the most importent part is the story itself.
These are the two most Common RP types and any good RP site uses both types to draw in a lots of people, along with other less popurlar types (like Mics Types such as Shine's Never Ending Party!!!
